Foodies Buenos Aires was first born in 2019 as a small WhatsApp group of a few friends as a way of organising events amongst us, and it just kept on growing.
We found food to be a great way of connecting people and making new friends as we explored amazing new places in the city. Eventually we created a Facebook group to help keep track of all the events we were planning. And now, well things have grown so big we've expanded onto Meetup as a way of planning bigger and better events for now and into the future.
We try to keep this group as social as possible, with our moto being Food, Friends and Fun, so please feel welcome to come along to any of our events, even if you're new and don't know anyone. That's the foundation of how the group was started in the first place after all.
Once you've attended your first event, you can ask an admin at the event to add you to the WhatsApp group if you're interested in joining.
We really care about showing up and meeting face-to-face. This isn't a virtual group or a distribution list (there're tons of those online) but a social group where members meet one another in person.
Let's try to keep it a safe and respectful environment so if we see agressive/racist/rude/etc type of messages the person shall be banned from the group.
No-shows are very frowned upon and may lead to you being removed from the group. Please try to give at least 24 hours notice if unable to attend an event you have an RSVP for, and please note some events that are paid in advance may not be refundable.

The best part about our trivia nights is they are a great chance to meet new people! The first half hour is generally spent socializing amongst the newbies, with your hosts helping your organise into teams to play once we start the questions at 8pm.
Please bring a pen and the $2500 pesos cash on the day of the event.
🏆 PRIZES are awarded to the teams who come first, second, third and second to last.🏆
The questions will be split into 5 rounds with a variety of themes and categories.
Questions will be in English!
