Men & Women perspectives in modern dating 40+ (ONLY WOMEN NEED TO SIGN UP)

Details

Bryant Jacob will be moderating this event again!

We were able to secure the back room at Sip City on Central Ave. Plaza Midwood

*This event is going to be limited to 15 women (15 SINGLE MEN will be signing up separately)

Everyone will have the opportunity to speak and talk honestly/openly about their dating experiences. It will be refreshing to hear how men and women actually perceive each other. We should all gain some valuable insight into the opposite sex.

“Connecting through new perspectives: How men and women can bridge the gap in modern dating.”

Dating today isn’t easy — for anyone. But real growth and connection happen when men and women stop seeing each other as the “opposite” and start seeing each other as fellow humans navigating the same messy, beautiful journey. Men and women both face dating struggles — ghosting, mixed signals, awkward first dates — we’ve all been there! The real magic happens when we stop playing the blame game and start swapping perspectives.

• Listening Without Judgment — Both sides often carry emotional scars and disappointments.
• Empathy Over Assumptions — Understanding that dating challenges are universal, even if they’re experienced differently, helps shift from “me vs. them” to “we.”
• Clear Communication — Honest conversations about intentions, boundaries, and values can prevent confusion and build trust.
• Shared Vulnerability — Opening up about struggles (like feeling unseen, misunderstood, or misjudged) creates deeper emotional bonds.
• Too often, we focus on what divides us: expectations, disappointments, misunderstandings. But what if we approached dating with empathy instead of assumptions?
• When we listen without judgment, communicate openly, and acknowledge each other’s struggles, we shift the experience from frustrating to meaningful.
• Love doesn’t always follow a script. Sometimes it shows up when we let go of the old ways and embrace new perspectives.

Let’s ditch the old rules and connect like grown-ups (with a sense of humor, of course). Love’s out there — it’s just waiting for us to see it differently.
