# Welcome to Football Watch Party!

Please note: This is a soccer watch party group—not American football.

Football Watch Party brings together supporters from all over the world who live locally in the Northern Virginia area and share a passion for the beautiful game. We currently meet regularly in Vienna and Aldie, VA, and the surrounding area to watch football, enjoy great company, and celebrate the sport we all love.

Our primary focus is:

• English Premier League
• FA Cup
• UEFA Champions League
• International tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup, UEFA European Championship, and CONCACAF Gold Cup

We're also proud supporters of Loudoun United and like to watch their matches alongside The Loudoun Stampede, the club's official supporters' group. If there's another football match or tournament worth watching, let me know; I'm happy for you even to take the reins, and I'll gladly help you set it up.

### Important Note

Football rivalry and banter are all part of the fun—and encouraged! Just keep it respectful. Good-natured jokes about clubs are welcome, but personal insults or attacks are not.

Everyone is here because we love the game and enjoy watching it with fellow supporters... scousers included. 😉

### New to the Group?

Football Watch Party has been active here and on Facebook since 2019, and we'd love to have you there as well.
One thing to keep in mind: the RSVP numbers on Meetup or Facebook don't tell the whole story. Most events also include attendees from our community who just show up, so while events may show only a few people, our watch parties typically draw 5–20 supporters.
