EFL Cup Final: Arsenal v Manchester City

The 2025/26 Carabao Cup Final takes center stage this weekend as Arsenal and Manchester City compete for the season's first silverware. With their battle for the Premier League and FA Cup also ongoing, Arsenal and City have a chance to lift an early trophy with EFL Cup glory.

Last year's winners, Newcastle United's trophy defense saw them reach the semi-finals, where they were thrashed 5-1 by Man City over two legs.
In the other last-four clash, Chelsea were beaten 4-2 on aggregate by Arsenal, with the Gunners doing enough to see off their London rivals.

Mikel Arteta's side are still on for the quadruple this season, sitting top of the Premier League table and recently into the quarter-finals of both the FA Cup and Champions League.

City are second in the Premier League and also into the last eight of the FA Cup but have crashed out of Europe.
Pep Guardiola and co will hope to beat Arsenal to Carabao Cup glory and hope it'll be the boost they need to catch them in the title race too.
