The pick of this weekend's FA Cup Quarter Final ties is undoubtedly Manchester City v Liverpool. So, everyone ready to meet up at 7:30 am then? Yeah, not bloody likely, we say. So, we're going to see a potentially wobbly Chelsea team host EFL League One (that's TWO divisions below the Premier League) side Port Vale, who are just one victory away from an unlikely visit to Wembley and an FA Cup Semi-final.

Chelsea got here defeating Charlton Athletic, Hull City, and Wrexham. The Blues have won the FA Cup 8 times, most recently in 2018. They have since lost in the FA Cup Final in 2020, 2021, and 2022. Chelsea are currently 6th in the Premier League.

Port Vale reached the Quarter finals with victories over Maldon & Tiptree, Bristol Rovers, Fleetwood Town, Bristol City, and Premier League Sunderland, and are looking for their second giant-killing in consecutive rounds. The Valiants' best previous run in the competition was back in 1954 when they reached the Semifinal. Port Vale are currently 24th (bottom) of League One.

This is the 15th competitive meeting between the two sides. Chelsea won 7 of them, Port Vale won 4, and the remaining 3 times finished all square. This is a Cup tournament tie; therefore, we must have a winner today, with penalties to decide a winner if needed.

We'll be meeting at Quattro Goomba's from noon to see whether this one shakes out as a hefty Chelsea win, another Port Vale giant-killing, or anything in between - Join Us!
