Manchester United v Ipswich Town

Our match in week 2 sees Manchester United host newly promoted Ipswich Town at Old Trafford.

United recovered from their worst Premier League finish in 2025 to clinch 3rd position last season. With added investment for the return to European Competition as well as expected longer cup runs, have the new additions been enough?

Ipswich Town are back in the Premier League after a one-season hiatus. They're beginning to get the yo-yo club moniker. They went straight back down in 2025 and will be wanting to repeat the feat achieved by both Sunderland and Leeds United by avoiding the immediate drop this time.
