What we’re about
I have to say that I am a little disappointed with the lack of interest so far. The area roads here in the Triad / Piedmont are fantastic and I see lots of people out riding alone. So a couple of things...
- If you don't find this club appealing I'd like to know why.. Send me a message..
- The first ride will be posted in a few weeks.. I'll be making a twisty route to Stone Mountain St Park Near TrapHill with a stop for lunch at Stone Mountain General Store.. [I will run the route before it is posted as a group ride.]
- Ride will be roughly 150 mi round trip. With a couple of stops.
-Start Location is TBD but will will be in the Tobaccoville / King / Winston Salem area.
- Beginners are welcome! I just need to know in advance of your skill level and experience.

This not a Sport Bike fast as possible ride, and it isn't a Touring, parade ride group either.
Read on if you want a quick definition of what Sport Touring is.. Yes I hijacked this from another site..
The sport touring rider views motorcycling as a skill-based sport. That doesn’t mean they are necessarily interested in racing or competition, but rather they look forward to a challenge and enjoy practicing and developing their riding skill. It’s not just riding a beautiful road, it’s riding it in complete control at a brisk pace, what many riders call “in the zone.” That’s the “sport” part of sport touring. The “touring” part is that a typical riding day covers more then a few miles and can be part of multi-day ride.
If you haven't ever done a weekend or few day ride you're really missing out! If this sounds like the kind of riding you have an interest in or prefer.. Join and lets talk..
