Senior Connections

Let's eat and schmooze with old (still no pun intended) and new at the Metropolitan Diner located at 750 Upper State Road-across from Costco in North Wales. Bring your appetite, the food is delicious!!

We will have a private room depending so lets fill the reservations!!! If you can no attend for any reason please update your RSVP to make room for someone else, this is a very popular event.

Metropolitian is very accomodating and will provide separate checks for each of us :)

Come join us for a flat 2 mile walking tour in Lambertville and New Hope while we visit 8 different sweet shops starting at the Lambertville Station Restaurant and return for lunch by 1:30. Restaurant lunch checks will be split 3 ways so please bring CASH to make things easier.

This event will only have 15 openings so we can keep everyone together and move in and out of the shops in a timely manner to return for lunch by 1:30 at Lambertville Station Restaurant.

A list of stores is as follows: Chez Alice, La Chocolate Box, Clusters popcorn, Moo Hope Ice Cream, Sciascia Confections, Annie B's sweets, Country Fair chocolates, and Goody bag & Basket company.

There is free parking behind the Lambertville Station Restaurant or if that is full go to the pay lot at Union Square in New Hope.

Wear comfortable shoes and please be on time so we can start at 11. Please be curtious of others, If you need to cancel please do so as soon as possible to let others on the waitlist join.

PLEASE NOTE: The Bridge Street Bridge is under repair, it is one way only, going from Lambertville to New Hope. You cannot go from New Hope to Lambertville. You can take 295 to 29 to get to Lambertville

Ready for a break? Join us for Happy Hour at La Scala's Fire restuarant and Bar in Upper Dublin. Drinks are great, food is wood fire Italian American Fare and the atmosphere is friendly especially when all the Seniors gather!

Try a Limoncello spritz $9 or a Moscow or Kentucky Mule $8 ( yes, Kentucky has their own Mule now) Drafts are only $4. If you come hungary there is a HH menu which includes $6 pizza, Boneless wings $10 or a classic Caesar Salad $7. There are numerous food and drink options to choose from.

We will have separate checks (yea) and a separate "space" to sit stand or whatever else your tired bones from a hard week of retirement wants to do.

Ask for us "Senior Connections" in case you already forgot which group we are or "Cindy's Kids" and the staff should be able to figure it out and head you in the right direction.

For a $10 cover charge enjoy great company and dancing to a live band then a DJ at the Tex Mex connection Tiki Bar party!

The party starts at 5 and ends at midnight-my bedtime is 10pm so I probably will leave before the end but please feel free to stay until you turn into a pumpkin at 12!

We will try to save a table or 2 but if you can come at 5 to help hold some seats that would help us.
