This group enjoys watching & discussing mostly foreign or internationally made films. We're not film critics. Our goal is to search out films that give us an alternative cultural/social/political viewpoint - a viewpoint that comes from the rest of the world outside the US. The format is to watch the film on your own sometime before the meeting.

Michael Clayton is a 2007 American ‘legal thriller’ film by writer and director Tony Gilroy, and stars George Clooney, with Tom Wilkinson, Tilda Swinton, and Sydney Pollack in supporting roles. A lawyer, Michael Clayton, discovers a coverup of criminal wrongdoing by one of his firm's clients. The movie deals with the themes of corruption and personal responsibility.
