Step away from the coastal crowds and join us for a gentle Forest Bathing walk in a beautiful Mediterranean forest just outside Lagos.
Forest Bathing (Shinrin-yoku) is a nature-based wellbeing practice that invites us to slow down and engage with the natural world through our senses. Rather than hiking or exercising, we move slowly, taking time to notice, listen, feel and connect with our surroundings.
This particular forest has a unique character, with sculptures, carved stones and artistic interventions woven into the landscape. Inspired by this setting, we will explore not only our connection with nature, but also the creativity and imagination that can emerge when we give ourselves time and space to pay attention.
During the walk, I will offer a series of simple invitations designed to deepen sensory awareness, encourage presence and foster a sense of connection with the forest, ourselves and one another. No previous experience is needed.
The walk includes:
• Intro to Forest Bathing and brief history of the area
• Gentle sensory and nature-connection activities
• Quiet moments of reflection
• Opportunities for creative expression (optional)
• Group sharing and closing circle

I look forward to sharing this special forest with you.
