Welcome to Forest Dip & Sip!

This is for anyone who fancies a quick, refreshing jump into the Het Nieuwe Meer Lake in the Amsterdamse Bos, followed by a warm-up and chilled chat over coffee or a drink at the nearby De Bosbaan restaurant.

It's all pretty simple: meet up, brave a dip, dry off, and then enjoy some good company.

We're a friendly bunch, and everyone's responsible for their own safety in the water. We definitely look out for each other, but remember, no lifeguards on duty – just us! Know your limits.

Let's hit Het Nieuwe Meer for our next Forest Dip & Sip!

The Plan:

Meet: We'll gather at the Het Nieuwe Meer Lake bicycle parking spot at 11:00 AM on Sunday 18 May.

Dip: Time for a quick, refreshing swim in the lake

Dry Off: Get yourself warm and dry

Sip & Chat: Afterwards, we'll head over to De Bosbaan restaurant for coffee, drinks, and a chat. Or we might just sit around in the sun near the lake if it is warm.

Good to Bring:

Swimming clothes

Towels (one to dry, one to stand on if it is cold!)

Warm clothes for after your dip (if it is cold).

We'll look out for each other in the water, but please know your limits, especially if the water temperature is cold. No one here is a lifeguard!
