Bill Torres has been providing services in the public accounting field since 1983. He has extensive consulting and compliance experience in individual, corporate, partnership, limited liability company, fiduciary, and estate taxation at the domestic and international levels. Bill has also defended these entities before the various authorities. In addition, he has testified as an expert witness in civil litigation matters and has provided attorneys with tax advice to assist in structuring their settlement proposals. He also provides litigation support and forensic accounting services with an emphasis in divorce and estate matters.
Bill has served as managing partner of his firm since 1994. He originally developed his accounting and auditing skills at Coopers and Lybrand servicing the manufacturing, financial and retail industries. Later at Kenneth Leventhal & Company, he shifted into the tax arena and assisted clients in all tax aspects of real estate development, construction, operations and deal structuring.
His experience includes Federal and state income and estate tax planning and preparation for a full assortment of clients.
