Every Wednesday in 2026 you can join Samba de Gafieira and Forró classes that make it easy to start and feel comfortable from the very beginning.

Classes are taught by teachers from Brazil, offering an authentic approach grounded in tradition, musicality, and real social dance experience.

The classes are structured in a clear and relaxed way, creating a comfortable learning environment where beginners can build confidence and enjoy dancing step by step.

What is Forró?
Forró is a couple dance and a genre of music that originated in northeast Brazil and has evolved to include many different musical beats and dance styles. In the beginning, Forró was associated with the working class. However, it is now very much international.

What is Samba de Gafieira?
Samba de Gafieira is a Brazilian partner dance that originated in Rio de Janeiro. It combines smooth movements, elegant footwork, and playful interaction, danced to classic Brazilian samba music. The dance is expressive and social, offering both accessibility for beginners and depth for dancers who want to grow.

Every Wednesday in the spring of 2026, there will be classes in Forró and Samba de Gafieira. It starts from scratch at the beginning of the semester and build up progressively in each class. Please note that it is not possible to join now if you have no experience in these dances, as the semester started in January.
