About us

This is a group for people who like to think deeply and who have lived broadly experienced lives, geographically and mentally, with an interest in cultural, social, and economic issues. This is a group for people who respect liberal as well as conservative ideas that are in good faith; those who have a curiosity about learning more about the issues they have an interest in, accepting that none of us are perfect.

I am centrist, both culturally and politically. As manager of this group, I respect all opinions, whatever perspective they come from, as long as they have been thought out rationally and with consideration for those are different from themselves.

It is also important that we can socialize and find common ground. That is why I find it important to meet for a beer which always relaxes people.

My primary goal for this group is for people to consider rational new ideas, have interesting and enjoyable discussions, and make new friends.

If you're unsure, take a chance. Some of my best decisions in life involved taking a chance that I didn't think would amount to anything.
