About us
What happens when curious minds gather—not to debate, persuade, or perform, but to
wonder?
Join us for a Socrates Café, an open conversation inspired by the simple idea that good
questions are more powerful than quick answers. Together, we’ll explore a thought-
provoking question chosen by the group and follow it wherever it leads—with respect,
curiosity, and a little intellectual bravery.
No lectures. No experts. No right or wrong answers.
Just people thinking out loud, listening deeply, and discovering new perspectives along
the way.
Whether you love philosophy or have never uttered the word, your voice belongs here.
Come as you are. Bring your curiosity. Leave with new questions—and maybe a few
unexpected insights.
We will select a topic or two at the meeting. Please bring a topic you think is worthy of
discussion. We'll vote on the topics at the meeting.
Join us in a safe environment. No arguments, no debating, no politics. Here would be
the guidelines:
1. Respect all viewpoints – Everyone’s opinion is welcome, even if it differs from your
own.
2. Ask questions – Focus more on asking thoughtful questions than giving definitive
answers.
3. Listen actively – Don't just wait to speak; genuinely engage with what others are
saying.
4. Avoid debating – It's about dialogue, not winning arguments.
5. Support your ideas with reasoning – Explain why you think what you think.
6. Stay on topic – Try not to derail the discussion. A moderator may gently guide the
group back if needed.
7. Take turns speaking – Let everyone have a chance to contribute.
8. Speak from personal experience when relevant – Sharing real stories can enrich
philosophical discussion.
