Details
Join us for a free 2015 oVirt (http://www.ovirt.org/) Asia workshop at FOSSASIA in Singapore with star technologist Brian Proffitt (http://www.proffitt.org/). This 3 hour workshop is designed to teach us about oVirt, learn what we can do with oVirt virtualization, encourage collaboration in our community, lay the foundation for best practices in oVirt use, and help answer questions about the project from both a developer and user's perspective. We look forward to seeing you!
About oVirt
oVirt is a free (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_and_open-source_software) platform virtualization (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Platform_virtualization) management web application (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_application) community project started by Red Hat (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hat). oVirt is built on libvirt (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libvirt) which allows it to manage KVM (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kernel-based_Virtual_Machine) virtual machines. oVirt is open source (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_source) software with backing from Red Hat (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hat) and it is the base for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization).
