About us
Welcome to Foundations of Drawing and Creative Connection. This group is for anyone who wants to get back to the basics of sketching in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. Whether you have not picked up a pencil in years or you are just starting to explore drawing, our goal is to build a solid technical foundation while enjoying the company of others who are also learning.
Each session focuses on a specific fundamental skill, such as understanding perspective, working with light and shadow, or refining line quality. We spend the first part of our time practicing these techniques together and then transition into a more social, collaborative period where we share our work and chat. There is no judgment here, just a shared space to practice, improve, and connect with fellow creatives at your own pace.
