2024 Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup

The FVAAF is sponsoring a site for the 2024 Fox-Wolf Watershed Cleanup. This year we are going to be cleaning up the Apple Creek trail.

#### What is a Watershed Cleanup?

Each year, more than a thousand volunteers visit one of 65+ sites coordinated throughout our watershed to remove garbage and debris. The annual cleanup aims to build a sense of community and increase understanding of the environmental stewardship necessary to improve water quality in our region.

#### What do volunteers do?

Volunteers start the morning at their assigned sites to cleanup up garbage and debris. Then, at noon, volunteers are invited to join us at Pierce Park in Appleton for the annual Cleanup Picnic to enjoy lunch, music, bounce houses, raffles, and games – it’s fun for the whole family!
