A St. Martin's fire is a traditional fire that is lit on St. Martin's Day (November 11). It symbolizes light in the darkness, based on the legend of St. Martin sharing his cloak.

On the great lawn at the upper end of the Günthersburgpark there will be such a fire and its a really nice event! Kids will perform the story of St. Martin as a shadow play, a band will play traditional songs and you can buy drinks and snacks
