Welcome!
You've found one of our weekly conversation events that will help foster your fluency in a language you are learning and help our ESL community practice their English.
This group is for speakers and signers of all languages, but we expect most attendees to be interested in English and Spanish language exchanges. Current members speak English, Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and sign American Sign Language at least conversationally. If you are currently learning one of those languages, then please attend and help us build a supportive community for language learning.
We hope to grow to include many more languages and model our events after the Lingua Lounge meetup group's in-person conversation events that are organized at libraries in Howard County.

Meanwhile, our weekly conversation events are held in the H-Mart Food Court on every Monday, from 7pm to 8:45pm. 1063 W Patrick St Ste A, Frederick, MD 21702
Restaurants in the food court are open till 7:30pm, so you can also get dinner while you attend, but it's best to arrive a little early. If you do get something to eat, please be respectful of the space and clean up after yourself. We'd like to be good guests and if not regular customers as we use the space after the restaurants close.
H-Mart Frederick closes at 9pm, so if the event runs long we can only stay till 9pm.
Events will be canceled if H-Mart Frederick is closed for a holiday or something. Hopefully you check and notice that it's closed before just showing up, because I probs won't.
