Join Dr. Christine Thompson each month for a lively discussion on current and critical factors involved in staying well, vibrant and vital as we age, as well as how to avoid the lifestyle-mediated degenerative health issues so prevalent today. Our focus will be on modifying lifestyle habits and using the safe and holistic bounty that nature provides to benefit our health and well-being.

A Fredericksburg Food Co-op owner/volunteer, Dr. Thompson has been practicing functional nutrition in Fredericksburg for 25 years.

Join Third Thursday Therapeutics for complimentary orthopedic wellness and movement screenings held monthly from January through May, 10–11 a.m. (January 15, February 19, March 19, April 16, and May 21).
This free drop-in event takes place at Kind Oasis Integrative Health at the Co-op and is designed for anyone experiencing joint pain, stiffness, weakness, posture concerns, or limited mobility. Participants receive brief, hands-on screenings to identify areas of tension, imbalance, or weakness, along with practical exercises and strategies to support healthier movement and joint function.

The sessions are led by Kerri Newman-Darrow, OTR/L, CHT, a licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist, and Garry Fitzgibbons, PT, a licensed physical therapist. With over 50 years of combined clinical experience, they provide educational, wellness-focused guidance aimed at empowering individuals with tools for improved mobility and overall well-being.
