Mandarin with Kids: Nature Walk & Connect 亲子中文交流徒步

Welcome to our Mandarin with Kids: Nature Walk & Meetup. All Mandarin levels are welcome.

Join us for a fun, mostly shaded, kids & pets friendly hike at beautiful Lake Chabot. We will meet near the bathroom next to the Lake Chabot Marina and Café before heading out on the trail.

This will be a relatively flat, mostly paved and easy hike, flexible between approximately 2–4 miles depending on the group and pace.

During the event, all adults and kids will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, share a fun fact, and participate in a simple and fun Mandarin conversation topic together. This event is designed to encourage Mandarin practice in a relaxed and supportive outdoor setting.

Our goal is to foster closeness to nature, meaningful connections, and joyful conversations with families and new friends.

Please bring:

• Water bottle
• Sunblock
• Hat
• Snacks if needed

We encourage fun, safety, kindness, and a great time together. Looking forward to seeing old friends and new friends at the event!

Parking: $5 in the park or free street parking with short distance walking.
