LEARNING Matters
Welcome to the Professional Workshops and Courses Meetup! You are now a member of Sunview College's Community GiveBack Initiative. .
Sunview College is a private career college that is committed to lifelong learning. We have been operating for several years, and as part of our Community GiveBack Initiative (CGBI), we welcome everyone to join our free courses and professional workshops. Our courses are a great option for: new Immigrants, professionals, and anyone in the community who is looking to upgrade their professional skills or are just interested in learning.
In addition to providing free courses, we also offer opportunities to more experienced professionals who would like to volunteer their skills and expertise in their field and teach or mentor our audience and members, Whether it be a beginner's skill or more advanced, we encourage you to join us.
We also offer free courses in partnership community centers across the GTA. At present, we have partnered with Dixie-Bloor Neighbourhood Centre, Next Step Employment in Vaughan and Toronto, to name a few.
In a short span of time, we have had some successful workshops. We have had a great turnout and positive feedback, and we hope to continue to run these workshops in the future. Some of our most popular courses included: Basic Web-design, Photography, Health, Nutrition, and Diet.
Please free to email the co-organizers if you or anyone you know would like to offer any kind of workshop/course that would benefit the community. We will promote your workshop on meetups/ facebook/ eventbrite.
