Short notice, help needed! Thursday Tree Planting at Oakport - MLK Shoreline

Hello Volunteers!

We need help planting 10 large trees on Thursday May 1st from 10am to 1pm at the Oakport section of the MLK Jr. Regional Shoreline Park (EBRPD).

These trees were left unplanted from a previous event and really need to get in the ground before the Summer. The trees are a mix of California natives in 15 gallon pots, and some are over 10 feet tall!

Volunteers can park at the end of Peppermint Gate Access Road, or inside the parking lot of Oakport Field if it is open. From the parking area head to the water and follow the trail to the right to find our planting site.

OPRF will provide snacks and drinks.
