We aren't meeting face to face (for now!), but you can write to one of the 9 prompts and submit your writing today to the Journal of Expressive Writing! The journal is accepting submissions on a rolling basis and adding new writing weekly! There is NO deadline for submissions + No fee to submit.

Read new writing by over 75 writers who identify as "poet, writer, architect, Cancer survivor, researcher, gardener, activist, professor, Army Veteran, doctor, MFA graduate, broadcaster, currently incarcerated, CFO, mom, Pushcart Prize nominee, beekeeper, Torah teacher, psychotherapist, poetry prize winner, high school senior, programmer, matchmaker, prepper, professional swing dance instructor, student of two former U.S. poet laureates," and more!

The Journal of Expressive Writing is the FIRST online literary journal to publish expressive writing, freewriting, non-fiction, personal essay, memoir, reflective essay, poetry, prose, contemplative discourse, and creative non-fiction—all that originates from a writing prompt—by both established and emerging writers.
