Jewelry Smithing 101

***If you’ve never worked with metal for jewelry smithing (cutting, soldering, and finishing) check Intro to Jewelry Smithing. ***

Already took the Intro class and looking to add to your skills? Join this 5 hr. class and learn to forge your own domed bead, you will get a look into basic design, learn to cold forge metal by using a dapping block and punch, as well as improve finishing and polishing techniques, and try a different soldering approach. The goal for this class is to walk away with a completed metal bead for you to take home.

*For your safety(and comfort), please be sure to come to class with closed toed shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty(we will be in a shared workshop space that collects dust and other grit easily), and for those with shoulder length hair(and longer) please be sure to tie hair up and away from face(especially during the summer heat, also be sure to bring a water bottle), thank you.
