Introduction to 3D Printing

Learn the basics of the manufacturing revolution that is 3D printing!

Whether you are brand new to the world of 3D printing and looking to get started, or if you have a printer of your own and are looking to improve your skill set and print quality, this class is for you.

This class will last approximately two hours, and we will cover the following:

• a brief overview of the different types of consumer and professional 3D printing processes
• a breakdown of the hardware that makes up each type of 3D printer
• a hands-on demonstration of the prep, printing, and finishing process using Freeside's 3D printers
• some helpful tips and tricks for improving the quality of your prints

By the end of the class, even an absolute beginner will be comfortable with the basics of 3D printing.
