PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Our program exposes the raw reality of homelessness in America — a crisis unfolding in brutal weather and even harsher economics.
As summer temperatures blast past 104°F, thousands of unsheltered people suffocate in overheated cars, nylon tarps, and collapsing tents with no access to cooling or clean water. When winter hits, those same residents in cold climates freeze through sub zero nights, huddled under thin blankets, soaked tarps, and broken RVs that offer no real protection.
Meanwhile, luxury condos rise overhead, turning basic shelter into an impossible dream and pushing working families, seniors, and young people onto the streets.
This is the deadly paradox we confront: a system where housing speculation thrives while human beings are left to burn in the summer and freeze in the winter.
Is there an answer to this extreme inequality?
