Roundtable Discussions @ Cafe Venetia, Palo Alto

Every other Friday, we gather for engaging roundtable conversations. This group was inspired by a similar community in Berkeley, but has its own unique space here. Together, we’ll explore books—both fiction and nonfiction—as well as podcasts, films, and thought-provoking articles that touch on cultural, political, and social issues of our time.

Bring something you’ve read, watched, or listened to that sparked your curiosity or challenged your thinking. Share a quick summary (5–10 minutes) to kick off the discussion, and then let the conversation flow.
Our topics span widely—environmental challenges, modern psychology, internet trends, women’s rights, economic realities, technology, constitutional debates, authoritarianism, historical periods, and literature both classic and contemporary.
