What we’re about
Let's get together for two hours of French conversation with coffee, tea and maybe breakfast.
This group is best suited to people who can hold a conversation in French as we simply chat together for the two hours. We help each other if we get stuck on a word or two, but it is not a lesson and we do not chat in English. Feel free to use your phone to look up words. We are all here to practice our skills and progress together. Native speakers are most welcome!
The meetup is casual with spontaneous conversations. On occasion, we also rotate our meetup location, go out for dinner or french entertainment like theatre and movies. Feel free to suggest any ideas!
Time: Every Saturday from 9.30am-11.30am.
It is free but donations are always welcome to maintain the meetup membership.
A little bit about myself: My name is Jenny, I was born in Perth and have been lucky enough to live in a number of different places including Canada, USA and France as well as in most states of Australia. I have been learning French for a number of years and love this beautiful language. I appreciate french culture, history, architecture and entertainment. I'm an intermediate french speaker and am keen to continue learning to achieve a comfortable, fluent level. I really enjoy sharing my knowledge and learning from others.
