Rate Fresh French Rosés for the Summer

Details
Members will taste and rate 4 different French Rose' wines. Two of them won Gold Medals (the other 2 weren't entered--my mistake) at the recent 50 Shades of Rose' Competition at the 11th Annual FIU Culinary School competition.
Participants do not have to be Wine experts or Wine snobs, but just regular Rosé drinkers who can select the Wine that appeals to their taste in an impartial manner.
We will start by learning how to get the most information from a French wine label. Then we'll identify the 4 special sub-regions of the Cotes de Provence that are permitted by law to identify themselves on the label.
Sainte-Victoire and Pierrefeu wines will be tasted. Both are blends of 3 grapes but one is 50% Syrah and the other is 60% Grenache, allowing you to experience the difference between these 2 most popular Provencal grapes.
Then we will move on to Bandol which is a small area of about 1,500 hectares vs over 19,000 for the Cotes de Provence. It is famous for the Mourvedre grape, which is required to be 70% of the plantings within any vineyard that wants to make AOP Bandol wine. Bandols are much heavier and stronger tasting than other Provencal wines, and can get a smile of recognition from confirmed red wine drinkers.
The 4th bottle will be a surprise.
The fee for the tasting is just $20.00. Please be RESPONSIBLE in managing your RSVP as there is a 20 person maximum.
After the tasting we will continue with our evening socializing amid the endless talks about the wines we tasted and our favorite wines. Each member pays for their own food and additional wine consumption. We can order from their regular menu or the Happy Hour menu, which ends at 7pm.
