Kayak and Camping Weekend Along the Potomac River (Mahagony Riverfest)

Join us for a weekend water adventure along the northern branch of the Potomac River near Harpers Ferry. This getaway features a camping and kayak experience for two nights along the Potomac River near Brunswick, MD. We’ll explore the local area and wildlife along the hidden creeks in the area and overnight at a drive-up campsite.

General Itinerary:
Friday: The journey begins on Friday afternoon as we arrive at the Brunswick Campsite. We will kayak through some of the area creeks. Then campsite is off of the C&O Canal so bring your bike if you want to ride when we are not on the water. Evening campfire, with fun and games. You will need to provide your own kayak and camping supplies.
Saturday: Continue the journey to explore the nearby waterways and creeks. The afternoon is open to explore more waterways, b9ike, hike, or relax at the campsite. Evening fun and games.
Sunday: Pack up camp after breakfast.

Time: The two-night option begins at the Brunswick Campsite on Friday afternoon at 12PM. We depart the campsite by 10AM on Sunday.

Cost: $95 per person.

Other Information:
A list of equipment, supplies, and suggested food options will be provided. You must have your own kayak to participate in the two-night program, departing on Friday afternoon.

This Mahogany RiverFest program is an annual program to explore the waterways of the DMV area with camping and kayak or canoeing options. Join us for this unique outdoor experience and journey!
