Kayak and Camping (1 night) Along the Potomac River (Mahagony Riverfest)

Join us for a day and evening of water adventure along the northern branch of the Potomac River near Harpers Ferry. This getaway features a camping and kayak experience for one night along the Potomac River near Brunswick, MD. We’ll explore the local area and wildlife along the hidden creeks in the area and overnight at a drive-up campsite.
Kayaks will be provided but you are responsible for your own camping supplies. Biking along the C&O Canal is also available.

General Itinerary:
Saturday: You will start your journey on this day. You will arrive at the campsite in the morning and get setup then begin exploring the local area by water. The afternoon is open to explore more nearby waterways. During the evening there will be fun and games at the campsite with a nearby night hike.

Sunday: Pack up camp after breakfast.

Time: The one-night option begins at the Brunswick Campsite on Saturday morning at 10AM. We depart the campsite by 10AM on Sunday.

Cost: $115 per person.

Other Information:
A list of equipment, supplies, and suggested food options will be provided. A single person kayak will be provided along with some brief maneuvering instructions. This kayak trip is a great for beginners.

This Mahogany RiverFest program is an annual program to explore the waterways of the DMV area with camping and kayak or canoeing options. Join us for this unique outdoor experience and journey!
