General Photography and Sharing Information

We will meet in the Chatham Manor parking area at 9:00 AM. The backup date will be Sunday, August 24th.
Late August into early October can be an interesting time for photography at Chatham. There should be flowers, butterflies and landscape opportunities.
The purpose of this event is to get together and share ideas. You can bring any gear that you think you might need to capture macro, flowers, butterflies or landscapes. We can share ideas on close-up photography, bracketing or any other technique you would like to experiment with and share.
If you want to try close-up photography, it would be good to bring a macro or longer zoom lens. A tripod may be useful, but it's not necessary, unless you plan to focus-stack images. A tripod would also be useful, but not necessary for a panorama.
This event is intended to be an informal workshop where we can practice techniques that will help us all grow as photographers.
