Macro Photography

Macro photography is one of the most fascinating ways to capture unusual, weird, and magical photos of the natural world. This meeting will focus on how to go about getting really good macro photos of insects, flowers, coins, and other small things – both natural and manmade. We will talk about how to set up photos at home and how to capture them in the field. We will talk a lot about depth of field and lighting, which can be a significant issue in macro photography. We will also touch briefly on equipment including how to use what you already have and what specialized gear might be helpful.

There will be time for Q&A after the presentation.
