On this very special weekend, we are celebrating the life of Rodchata — a true pioneer and trailblazer in the Latin dance industry.
Not only are we celebrating his 60th Birthday, but also his 35th Anniversary in Latin dancing.

For over 35 years, Rodchata has contributed tremendously to the growth of the dance scene — not just in California, but around the world. From the legendary Salsagang movement in the 1990s, to Rodchata Bachata Promotions in the early 2000s, he has helped open doors for many up-and-coming dance artists, DJs, instructors, promoters, and performers throughout the years.

He has taught thousands of students in over 355 cities worldwide, helping spread the love of Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, and Latin dance culture globally.
Today, while courageously battling Stage 2 liver cancer, Rodchata continues to move forward — still dancing, still traveling, still teaching, and still supporting artists and communities everywhere.

This weekend is a celebration of his vibrant life, legacy, friendships, and contributions to the dance world — bringing together friends, acquaintances, dancers, artists, promoters, and partners from near and far in one place and one city.

The 3rd Annual Fresno Dance Fiesta was absolutely incredible.
This year was bigger, stronger, and more unforgettable than ever before. From the workshops, the socials, the energy, the music, the laughter, the late nights until 4AM… the love and support was unreal.
And now… WE ARE OFFICIALLY SET FOR NEXT YEAR.
