# 🎤 Friday Public Speaking, Impromptu Speaking & Social Night
✨👋Looking for a fun and relaxed way to become a more confident communicator, meet interesting people, and spend your Friday evening doing something different?
Although this event is hosted by NUS Alumni Toastmasters Club, it is open to everyone. You do not need to be an NUS student or alumnus to attend. We warmly welcome guests from all backgrounds.

## 👂🪑No pressure to speak!
Many first-time guests wonder whether they'll be asked to give a speech.
The answer is no.
You're completely welcome to just come, listen, observe, and enjoy the evening. Many guests attend their first meeting simply to experience what Toastmasters is like before deciding whether they'd like to participate in future meetings.
If you'd like to speak, fantastic. If not, that's perfectly okay too.
## More than just public speaking
While communication is at the heart of Toastmasters, many members also enjoy the friendships and conversations that happen around the formal meeting.
Come along to:

🍜 Optional Supper Afterwards
Many of us head out for supper after the meeting. It's completely optional, but often one of the best parts of the evening—a chance to continue conversations, get to know people better, and simply enjoy good company.

Guest fee: S$10 per person, payable at the meeting. This helps cover venue and club operating costs. Any supper afterwards is at your own expense.
