A 2 mile hike along Gobbler’s knob trail to a big meadow where Beaver Dam Analogs have been hand-constructed into the Indian Ford Creek streambed to help raise the water level to restore peatlands, willows, and more, and perhaps encourage beavers to return and continue the important work themselves.

  • Come with a sense of adventure explore the meadow as well as hike
  • There are places for doggy water play.
  • The trail is relatively flat but can be uneven in spots. Wear sturdy shoes that could get wet.
