Sunday Picnic in St James park

Join us for a Picnic in the beautiful St James Park in the very centre of London. We will meet at 2:00 PM outside St James Park Tube Station and the organisers will be holding a Meetup sign outside the 'Broadway Exit' to help you recognise us. This meeting point is immediately on the left after you exit the ticket barriers.

After a 15-minute wait, we will head for a suitable picnic spot in the park. Please note that unfortunately we are unable to provide an exact location in the park for our picnic due to the fact that the park can be busy on Bank Holiday Weekend. Therefore, we will be choosing a picnic spot on the day after we meet at St James Park Station.

Members who arrive later are more than welcome to call myself so that we can tell you our location - 0757 8360117.

Suggestions of what to bring:
Food, drink, picnic mats, blankets etc.

Members will have the option of playing a group game of both skittles and quoits.

WAITING LIST:
At the time of last updating this Meetup page, we have a waiting list for this event. For most members, the waiting list system is very straightforward. However, we do appreciate that members new to Meetup.com can sometimes require clarification on how the waiting list works. ADDING GUESTS WHEN THERE IS A WAITING LIST:
Please also note that if a member who has a place subsequently adds a guest or guests, the Meetup.com system will automatically move that person and their guests to the waiting list if the meetup is full. This is to ensure newly added guests do not receive priority over members already waiting before them.

RSVP's WILL CLOSE THREE HOURS BEFORE THIS EVENT BEGINS:
RSVP's will also close at 11:00 AM on the day of this meetup (3 hours before the event). This is due to feedback from members who have been on the waiting list and prevents very late notice of a space becoming available, which can be unfair.
