Friday Night Party at the Clubhouse

Happy Friday to you all!
Just a few quick notes about the Clubhouse tonight. To my knowledge, there will be at least 4 groups, including ours, in attendance, along with the usual cast of characters who go there on the first Friday, so it will get crowded as the evening gets later.
First, for those of you who have not been to the First Friday event, please be aware that we cannot get reserved tables, and the seating area is limited. The best we can do is get there early and start filling in some of the tables. We usually end up on the left side of the restaurant as you pass the hostess stand, but that's not a guarantee. We have a large group going just with our gang, so tables and seats are not guaranteed.
Second, with so many Meetup groups going, the restaurant hostess probably won't be able to keep us all straight, so the best thing to do is to familiarize yourself with some of our faces on the site and look out for us--especially if this is your first event. If you see a group of folks in an area and ask them whether that is a Meetup group, please mention my name or the Woodridge, Lisle, DG Group name. There also is a lot of crossover membership among the groups, so while you might recognize someone from our site, that person might also have signed up with another group and is bouncing back and forth socializing between groups.
I will try to get there by 6, but we might have some people there earlier. Hope to see you all later. Clubhouse closes at midnight and last call is around 11:30, so a vast majority of us stay close to the end. If you can't make it there early in the evening, just drop by later.

Back by popular demand since this has been such a great time in the past, we are going to meet up at The Clubhouse to partake in their First Friday of the Month Party. We are partnering up again with the Suburban Singles Solution group at what is certain to be another fun night filled with people-watching, socializing and dancing (lots of it!).
We will not have reserved tables, but Sarah (one of our other organizers) and Naomi (a member of our group and organizer for Suburban Singles Solution) will get there early and try to save some tables. The buffet food tends to go fast, so if you want to load up on the free food the earlier you get there, the better. We'd also appreciate the help with saving some tables.
Please look for Sarah, Naomi and other members of our group, as I won't be able to get there until around 6.
The Clubhouse is located in the northeast corner of the intersection of Route 83 and Cermak Road (22nd Street) in Oak Brook, on the south side of the Oakbrook Center Shopping Mall between Lord & Taylor and Neiman Marcus facing Cermak Road.
Starting at 4 p.m. The Clubhouse offers:
Half-Price Appetizers from 4 - 6 p.m.
Complimentary Buffet from 6 - 7 p.m.
Raffle drawing at 8:45 p.m.
DJ starts spinning at 7 p.m.
$6 Golden Margaritas & $7 Tipsy Palmers
An RSVP is highly recommended, especially for anyone who is new to the group, so that we can keep an eye out for you.
