What we’re about
Founded in 2007, the aim of this group is to bring together internationally-minded people with a European affinity. Through convivial cross-cultural social gatherings we are building a vibrant circle of cosmopolitan friends who meet, talk, exchange experiences, practice their language skills, or just relax and feel at home.
Anyone born in Europe or who has lived there or has some other strong European connection is welcome. If an expatriate, you might have just recently relocated to the U.S. or be a long-time naturalized citizen. Current members include folks from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and many other countries.

Jingle Mingle 2025
Novela, 662 Mission St, San Francisco, CA, USCelebrate the holiday season with your Euro friends at our special end-of-year mingle. Add to the merrymaking by wearing a little jingle.
RSVP as usual to attend, however there will be no +1s. If you wish to bring a guest (a friend or partner who is not a BAFOE member), direct message the host here. Please only RSVP if you’re confident you’ll be able to attend and cancel your RSVP if your plans change so that someone else can go instead.
After the RSVP limit is reached, you can join a wait list. A maximum headcount has been agreed with the venue, so please only come to the event if you make it off the wait list after someone cancels. Please respect the honor system.
Venue opens at 5pm. Check in at the BAFOE welcome table to receive yourJingle Mingle name badge – your passport to mingling! For this event only there will be no attendance fee. Merry Christmas!
