Bring the family to Holyoke Heritage State Park for the third of four programs during "Nature's Helping Hands" school vacation week. This week we investigate different ways in which plants and animals help us. Come one day or every day to learn how we cannot live without nature.

Today, investigate how trees cool hot cityscapes, filter polluted air, provide relaxing views, slow runoff and more. Learn about superhero trees through crafts, games, tree walk and more. Find out how to get a tree planted in your yard for free this spring. Bundle up for the short walk outdoors.

All programs take place in the Visitor Center of Holyoke Heritage State Park.
Free hot chocolate is available every day.
As always, programs are free and open to the public. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Reservations requested by calling 413-534-1723 but not required. Large groups please call ahead.
