Join DCR Wildlife Biologist, Halie Larkin, on an hour-long birding excursion, up to 1-mile around the Summit House grounds on easy trails. Visit birding locations, spot migrating species like warblers. Hear from researchers how and why they study bird behavior. Binoculars are recommended. Limited binoculars are available to borrow. Severe weather cancels. Open to all, but best for ages 12 and up. Meet on the Summit House Deck.

All programs are free, open to the public, and meet at the Summit House unless otherwise noted. The Summit House is located atop Mount Holyoke, off Skinner State Park Road. Parking fee: $5 for in-state license plate and $20 for out-of-state license plate. All children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call the park at (413) 586-0350
