Hi there! Friends of Ximula Sail is a community of friendly people who love to sail and meet other like-minded adventure lovers. We organize a sunset cruise every week for this community to relax and chill out together over a scenic cruise around Singapore's Southern Islands onboard Ximula's sailing catamarans. This community is hosted by the team behind Ximula Sail, a yacht charter business focused on delivering exceptional and memorable yacht experiences. Our day job is running yacht charters for various occasions including birthday parties, engagement proposals, and team bonding sessions.
Our vision is to bring our extended family of clients-turned-friends, guests, and sailors together through these sunset cruises, sailing training, certifications and expeditions in South East Asia.
Beginning 2021, Calvin Bow will be helping out in organising these trips and at the same time, bringing people who are interested to learn sailing to join an appreciation/training trip weekly to learn from a veteran sailor since the 1970s.
After a few sessions of hands-on weekend sailing, you can sign up for a five-day Inshore Skipper Course and be awarded an Inshore Skipper license (up to 75 feet or 24 meters) by the International Sailing School Association (ISSA, London).
