I started this community 9 years ago to create a friendly, local space for people to meet, socialize, and build real connections close to home. Itβs been my passion to keep this community going and bring people together in a fun, relaxed environment.
We encourage you to visit our website and learn more about our community, events, and values to see if this is the right fit for what youβre looking for.
Who Is This Group For?
This group is for people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s living in Framingham, MetroWest, and surrounding areas who want to:
βοΈ Connect and make new friends without needing to go into Boston
βοΈ Explore local restaurants, pubs, and outdoor activities
βοΈ Enjoy walks, hikes, kayaking, and seasonal outings
βοΈ Meet people who are genuinely interested in building community
βοΈ Be part of creating a welcoming space where friendships can grow naturally
I'm slightly outside the age range, can I still join?
Weβre not super strict, but we do ask that you be honest when answering the membership questions.
This group is geared toward people in their 20s, 30s, and 40s+ because most members are in that stage of life. If you're just outside that range but genuinely feel you'd fit in socially, thatβs totally fine. What matters most is that you're a good match for the vibe of the group.
Please donβt fudge your age just to join. We want to keep things open and authentic. It helps us maintain a comfortable, relatable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
Our Goal
We aim to create a space where people can build meaningful, real-life friendships through consistent, in-person connection.
In todayβs busy, screen-heavy world, forming genuine relationships can be difficult, especially close to home. This group exists to make that easier by bringing people together in a way that feels natural, low-pressure, and welcoming.
More than just attending events, our goal is to build a community where members contribute, show up for each other, and help shape the experience over time.
Why Join Us?
Our events are casual, low-pressure, and designed to help you connect naturally with others.
Whether youβre new to the area or looking to expand your social circle, if youβre friendly, respectful, and want to be part of a community, youβre welcome here.
We value members who engage honestly and positively; thatβs what keeps this group fun and inclusive for everyone.
How You Can Help Keep the Group Alive
This group thrives when members share in the fun and the effort! If you love the community and want it to keep growing, here are simple ways to help:
β
Invite fellow members to events that you're interested in to foster a sense of community
β
Suggest event ideas through the community or member feedback channels
β
Volunteer to host, co-host events, or help behind the scenes when you feel ready
Hosting can be as easy or involved as you want it to be, and even occasional help makes a big difference. Iβm here to support you throughout the process.
Membership Dues
This group has a $15 annual membership contribution.
Your membership helps support the ongoing costs of running the community, including the hosting platform, group resources, event supplies, and future community-building opportunities.
The annual model allows members to participate in events throughout the year without paying individually for each one, while helping create a more sustainable and consistent experience for everyone.
Your support helps keep the group active, welcoming, and growing.
Membership Requirements
β’ A clear, identifiable profile photo (so the host can recognize you at events for safety)
β’ Completion of membership questions
β’ Taking a moment to review the groupβs About page or website (walthamsocial.com) to ensure itβs a good fit for what youβre looking for
If you prefer not to display a public photo, please message the organizer to request the groupβs official email, and send a photo for verification before your request can be approved.
Group Expectations & Community Guidelines
To help keep our group safe, respectful, and welcoming for all, weβve put together a shared document outlining our community guidelines.
Please take a moment to review them before attending events.

About this event:Hoping to connect with other Bi+ people over coffee and conversation?
Join us for a relaxed and friendly coffee social in Waltham. This edition of our popular series is for anyone who identifies under the Bi+ umbrella β including bisexual, pansexual, fluid, queer-identified, unlabeled, questioning, and anyone who experiences attraction to more than one gender (M-spec identities) and is for anyone looking to connect in community with others who get it.
All LGBTQ+ folks are welcome as long as they support Bi+ inclusion and understand that this space is Bi+-centered.
This event is intended as a bi-centered, queer-welcoming space. Because bi-erasure and biphobia are common issues in broader queer spaces, we maintain a clear zero-tolerance policy for any bi-erasing or biphobic comments to ensure this remains a safe, supportive environment for everyone.
This is in line with our groupβs general respect and inclusion guidelines.
Whether you're out and proud, quietly exploring, or still figuring things out, youβre welcome here.
We'll gather for casual conversation, friendship, and connection in a cozy, community-oriented environment.Show up as you are, this event is about warmth, belonging, and meeting others who truly understand the Bi+ experience.
Looking forward to seeing you there!β Please support the cafΓ© by making a purchase, as we are using their space and their staff is awesome.
