Welcome to the Friendship Group: Cultivating Kindness and Connection, where we come together to nurture kindness, respect, and positive energy in our interactions with others by practicing friendship & relationship skills together.
A session may be cancelled if less than six members have signed up to attend. I am facilitating this group during my prime working hours so a session may be cancelled if Iess than six members have prepaid to attend. Will be cancelled if Iess than 3.
Currently Planned are 10 online sessions.
Optionally, we will have 2 in-person gatherings in downtown Toronto - available for those who attended 50% or more of the online meetings.
Each individual session is $25, you do not have to make all of the sessions, but you have most benefit if you do. In-person gatherings are open to those who attended two or more online meetings, it’s a chance to get to know the people in person who you have already been getting to know online.
If attending in-person gatherings downtown , Toronto is not possible or convenient for you, you are very welcome to join the online component only.

Event Description:
Join us for a transformative experience at the Friendship Group: Cultivating Kindness and Connection. In this supportive environment, we meet others also looking to foster kind and loving connections where we can practice friendship skills like active listening, clear communication, healthy boundaries, vulnerability, authenticity, and more, to foster a sense of belonging and community.
This is a place where good manners and respect are the norm, and where we embrace each other's differences with love and acceptance.
Throughout the evenings, participants will engage in discussions, activities, and exercises aimed at deepening their connections with others and fostering a culture of kindness and compassion. We believe that by practicing kindness and empathy, we can create a more positive and harmonious community for everyone.
Event Highlights:
- Engaging discussions on the importance of kindness and connection in our lives as a peer support group/friendship group
- Sharing about your life as you practice relationship skills and deal with life’s challenges in small groups of 3 with prompts and guidance
- Worksheets on 15 Friendship Skills, Relationship Values, Boundaries, and Gratitude Exercises
- Interactive activities and exercises to strengthen friendships and build trust
- Opportunities for coaching and support and psychoeducation regarding emotions and wellness topics
- Optional in-person gatherings in downtown Toronto for face-to-face connections and camaraderie

Our Friendship Group maintains a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination of any kind. Participants are expected to treat each other with kindness, respect, and positive intentions at all times. Coaching intervention will be provided if needed to address any conflicts or issues that may arise.
