Perseid Meteor Shower Night

Join us for a night of sky viewing in the forest. With one of the darker locations in MSSF, this is a great place to view the planets and constellations. This will be led by Jim Kundzicz, a local astronomy enthusiast who will share his sky observing experience. We encourage participants to bring family members.

Jim's comments:
The Perseid meteor shower peaks tonight, and this year there is no Moon to wash it out. Jupiter, Mars and Saturn are also visible. Be sure to bring a comfortable chair (recliner is best) so you can lay back and watch the sky.
