Heading west from the Fire Tower

Details
Our hike will head west from the fire tower off Bare Hill Road to the western edge of the forest along West Line Road. We will check out an area near the western border, where unfortunately, sand mining has been occuring. We can take side trails off of Three Cornered Pond and Shoestring Roads. We will also pass some well groomed cranberry bogs within the forest border.
Bring water and snacks. Bug spray for prevention is recommended.
This hike will probably go about two and a half hours. It is not expected to be a great weather day but it is expected to be mild in the low 50s. A steady rain will cancel this hike.
This Meetup is offered by the Friends of Myles Standish State Forest. Visit our website (http://www.friendsmssf.com/) for more information on our group.
