This month we'll be welcoming:

Mirko Nasato (@mirkonasato) - Next.js and the rise of hybrid rendering

Gone are the days when the choice was between a Single-Page Application (SPA) or a server-rendered one. Built on top of React, Next.js is the most popular of a new breed of JavaScript frameworks (including Nuxt, SvelteKit etc.) promising to offer the best of both worlds. It supports Client-Side Rendering (CSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and more, all in the same application. Using a sample app, we'll compare the different rendering methods, explain when you may want to use which, and also touch on the downsides of "hydration".

Craig Shaw (@StudioSeashore) - Freelancing front end

A talk about how I moved to self employed and how you can too! Some tips and advice to the front enders who might be nervous about taking that leap.
