About us
Everyone is welcome in this inclusive writing community! We write, discover more about ourselves, and do this within a community where friendships and connection play an integral part.
I've written my entire adult life, but I discovered poetry 10 years ago. My first book, Dancing DNA:A Collection of Poems was published in August 2023, and I am currently working on my second book. In the midst of this journey, I have tried out many different groups and wanted to start one focusing on "sparking" our creativity!
This community, with over 30 consisistent members, was build around personal connection. A place where we know each others names and understand, "Artists need artists, no one else understands"!
This is a community where everyone is welcome! Whatever your writing level, you are welcome. We meet as a larger group every second Saturday, and there are offerings or "experiences" that are on other Saturday mornings. The main focus is 4-week classes, meeting during the week, where we dig deeper into our writing/art.
This is a place where we do three things:
CONNECT (building community)
WRITE (with or without prompts)
SHARE (opportunity to share writing & experiences)
